A completely renovated and extended barn set on just over 2 acres (8700m2) of arable land, just a 10 minute stroll from the village of Puylagarde.  The village of Parisot, with its new medical centre, school, shops, cafes and restaurant is just 5 minutes away by car.  The popular riverside town of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and the medieval ridge-top village of Najac, one of France’s most beautiful villages  are, each, under 25 minutes away.  For major shopping, Villefranche de Rouergue is an easy 20 minute journey to the east.

The derelict old stone barn was almost totally rebuilt to include redressed stone work and  new roof. A new system of electricity and a water supply were provided. The barn was greatly increased in size by the construction of a new two storey extension which, with the two storeys in the originai barn, created on the ground floor, an entrance hall with cloakroom, a large fully fitted kitchen, and a double aspect, lounge, with views over the open countryside. On the upper level were created three generous-sized bedrooms, each with en-suite shower rooms.  The property has been extremely well insulated and is double glazed throughout with hardwood frames. Gas central heating is underfloor on the ground floor and by radiators on the upper level. In addition, the lounge is served by a Scandinavian Jotul wood burning stove for those evenings when it’s just necessary to take the chill off!

The bulk of the land is given over to pasture.
